Articles must be typed on A4 paper, single spaced, with Cambria font 12 pt.
Left, right, top, bottom margins 2.54 cm.
Articles are the result of research, should not be more than 15 pages. Editors can
reduce the size of a large image or table. Articles must have an order
as follows:
Table, table title written at the bottom of the table, single space, the table must provide information solid and easy to understand. Pictures, picture captions are written at the bottom of the picture, Pictures must be clear so that they can prints fine. Size and weight must be written in international standards (kg, cm, ml, etc.)
Title Page
Top page title
The title of the Indonesian version must be written in large letters size 14. Title set in the middle of the page. The title must be solid and refer to the research, It is advisable to write down the type of livestock used. Author's full name is listed without academic degree. The naming of an author on the article implies that the person named knows about the research, agree to be published and be responsible for the results or written conclusions. The institutional address of the author must be included in full. If the affiliation of different authors, may use the signs “1,” “2,” “3,” at the beginning of each affiliation.
Abstract
The abstract must be structured and no more than 250 words. The abstract should summarize the results- relevant results in a concise but easy-to-understand form. Abstract which structured must be composed of Objectives / Background), Material and Methods, Results and Discussion, and Conclusion. Not allowed to include references to abstract. Abbreviations that appear in the abstract are not included in the abbreviations standards must be defined before first use.
Keywords
Keywords consist of four to six keywords that best describe the content from research. The term "Keyword" will appear in bold followed by a dashcolon. The first letter of the keyword is capitalized and the keyword is separated by a comma. Keywords must include animal species, variables tested, and criteria other research.
Heading
The heading of the article which consists of the introduction, materials and methods, results and discussion, conclusions and bibliography is written in big and bold letters. The first subheading that appears is always written on the left side on a separate line in bold, not followed by punctuation, and only the first letter is capitalized. Subheading is used when it consists of several subheading paragraphs. The second subheading appears at the beginning of the first line of the paragraph and is unnecessary
labeling (a, b, c, etc.).
Introduction
The introduction is written after the abstract. The introduction provides brief information about why this research needs to be done and the hypotheses to be tested. To minimize the number of pages that are too long and avoid repeated use of references between the introduction and discussion, it is advisable not to include too many references on the introduction page. References are only needed to support the research concept.
Method
Materials and methods must be described clearly and concisely such as biological procedures for handling samples and statistical designs used in experiments. All modifications to the procedure must be described. Type of feed, livestock (type of livestock, sex, age,body weight, and weighing conditions [with or without restriction of feed and/or water]), surgical techniques, measurements, and statistical models must be clearly and completely explained. Brand names and company names and locations for all substances and equipment mentioned in the text should be included in brackets within the text, not in a footnote. Incorrect or inadequate use of statistical designs to analyze and interpret biological data unacceptable. It is highly recommended to consult a statistician. Statistical methods commonly used in animal husbandry need not be described in detail, but adequate references should be provided. The statement of the results of the statistical analysis must justify the interpretation and conclusions.
Results and Discussion
Results should be presented in table or figure form whenever possible. Writing results must explain or describe table or figure data, but there is no need to repeat writing the whole number. Data must be displayed as well as possible, so that readers can easily interpret the results of the experiment. Discussion must be combined with results, Discussion must interpret results clearly and concisely in terms of biological mechanisms and must integrate with findings from other studies to provide readers with an understanding of whether the hypothesis being tested in the study is accepted or rejected.
Conclusion
Conclusion no more than 100 words in one paragraph. The conclusion explains the research findings and their impact on the livestock sector
Bibliography
All references cited in the article must be listed in the bibliography. Authors must use at least 10 original articles or primary articles published over 2000. If there are three authors, the citation in the article is followed by “et al.”. If the reference has a digital object identifier (DOI), it must be listed.
