Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission is original, has not been previously published, and is not currently under consideration by another journal. Any previous dissemination as a preprint, conference paper, thesis, dissertation, or institutional report has been disclosed to the Editorial Team.
  • The manuscript is relevant to GOTAVA’s focus and scope and has been prepared as either a Research Article or a Community Service Article in accordance with the journal’s language policy.
  • The manuscript has been prepared using the official GOTAVA template in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx). The template’s layout, styles, headings, fonts, header, footer, and article-information elements have not been altered.
  • The manuscript follows the required structure for the selected article type, includes a 200–250-word abstract, three to five keywords, exactly three Highlights or Key Contributions, and the required Limitations and Declarations sections.
  • All tables and figures are numbered, cited in the text, and presented in an editable or publication-quality format. Permission and consent have been obtained for copyrighted or identifiable materials where applicable.
  • Citations and references follow APA 7th edition. Every source cited in the text appears in the reference list and vice versa, and DOI links or stable URLs have been provided where available.
  • All authors have approved the submission and completed the required authorship, funding, conflict-of-interest, ethics, consent, data-availability, and suggested-reviewer information.

Authors who publish with GOTAVA: Jurnal Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat agree to the following terms:

Author Rights & Copyright Ownership

Authors retain copyright and full publishing rights without restrictions.

Authors grant GOTAVA and its publisher, Yayasan Sumber Daya Manusia Cerdas, the non-exclusive right of first publication and the right to publish, distribute, preserve, archive, and identify the article as the official Version of Record.

Authors do not transfer copyright or grant exclusive commercial or publishing rights to GOTAVA or its publisher.

Licensing & Reuse Provisions

All published articles are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).

Under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license, third-party users may:

  • Copy and redistribute the article in any medium or format
  • Remix, transform, and build upon the article 
  • Use the article for any lawful purpose, including commercial purposes.

Third-party users exercising rights under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license must:

  • Give appropriate credit to the author or authors
  • Identify GOTAVA as the source of first publication
  • Provide a link to the applicable license
  • Indicate whether changes were made
  • Distribute adapted material under the same or a compatible license.

Third-party users may not apply additional legal terms or technological measures that prevent others from exercising the rights granted under the license.

Self-Archiving & Author Reuse

Because authors remain the copyright holders, they may share, deposit, reproduce, translate, adapt, republish, or otherwise reuse their own articles without requesting permission from GOTAVA. Authors are encouraged to acknowledge the original publication and include the article’s complete citation and DOI when redistributing the published Version of Record.

Authors may deposit the submitted manuscript, accepted manuscript, or published Version of Record in institutional repositories, subject repositories, personal websites, academic networks, or other lawful platforms without an embargo period.

Third-Party Materials & Endorsement Disclaimer

The CC BY-SA 4.0 license applies to the original scholarly content of the article unless otherwise indicated. Photographs, figures, tables, maps, instruments, datasets, or other third-party materials identified by a separate credit line may be subject to different copyright or licensing terms.

Authors are responsible for obtaining any permissions required to reproduce third-party materials and for clearly identifying materials that are excluded from the article’s CC BY-SA 4.0 license.

Reuse of an article does not imply endorsement by the authors, editors, journal, or publisher of any adaptation, interpretation, organization, product, or service.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
